Having been tasked with designing a 15-second promo video, I decided to stitch up a new, fresh brand for the Disney+ Streaming service. I was to create a promotion that would encourage grandmothers to subscribe to their service.
Inspiration came from my grandmothers, who love hobbies such as knitting, crocheting, sewing, and baking. I was able to create the yarn texture in After Effects to convey a hand-stitched effect.
By looking through many favorite Disney movies, I highlighted grandmothers who played significant roles that might also create a connection with the grandmother viewer.
