The annual Digital Graffiti Projection Festival in Alys Beach, Florida, features artists from around the world projecting their work on the iconic white homes and buildings in the community. SCAD students also projected their designs and participated in the event alongside these artists.
For my projection exhibit on the Caliza, nine connected houses, I wanted participants to experience the tropical life of Hawaii. The inspiration for the design and music was the beautiful Hawaiian flower leis, palm trees, and the colorful coral you see when snorkeling on the islands. I also included traditional Tapa prints(Hawaiian tribal art).
