When we think of Disney, we often visualize fun, colorful, magical, and wonderful family memories. However, Ridley Pearson, author of the book series Kingdom Keepers-Disney After Dark, gives us a glimpse of Disney after it closes. It's dark and scary, with the Disney villains coming to take over the happiness of the park and the world.
Being tasked to create a title sequence for a movie based on a book, I wanted the challenge of creating a piece that captured an eerie and unsettling feeling about Disney. It was to be out-putting, evil, and suspenseful. Using the classic viewfinders and reels, I wanted the curious audience to have a glimpse at what might be happening at Disney, after dark.
